Overview



The DWF-4.1/(18~25)-45 reciprocating piston compressor is a medium-high pressure model for natural gas boosting in industrial gas processing and transportation, capable of stable pressurization during long-term continuous operation.


 It features a nominal volumetric flow of 4.1m³/min with an actual gas handling capacity of 95,000–135,000 Nm³/h. Under normal temperature conditions, it operates with an inlet pressure range of 1.8~2.5MPa(G) and delivers a rated discharge pressure of 4.5MPa(G), driven by a 200kW motor rated at 740r/min. 


The fully integrated skid-mounted unit measures 6200×2900×2300mm and weighs 14 tons, enabling easy on-site pipeline connection and consistent long-term operation.

Structural Design

This D-type symmetric balanced forced air-cooled oil-free reciprocating piston compressor adopts single-stage two-cylinder layout and is delivered as an integrated skid-mounted unit for medium-high pressure natural gas processing.



  • Cylinders & Cylinder Heads: Ductile iron construction with full oil-free sealing, preventing natural gas contamination to meet gas transmission purity standards.


  • Packing & Piston Components: 45 steel pistons paired with special PTFE-filled packing; all wearing parts maintain a minimum 6000-hour service life with reliable sealing.


  • Crankshaft & Connecting Rod: Forged carbon steel crankshaft with hardened crank pins and 40Cr forged connecting rod, core drive components support 30000 hours of continuous pressurization.

Whole Machine Description



The DWF-4.1/(18~25)-45 is a D-type balanced air-cooled oil-free reciprocating piston compressor with single-stage two-cylinder structure, supplied as an integrated skid-mounted unit. Foundation installation guarantees stable continuous operation for medium-high pressure natural gas compression.


 Its HT250 split crankcase serves as an oil storage chamber equipped with a coarse filter, oil dipstick, oil filling port, drain valve and oil temperature detection ports to protect moving parts. 


The HT250 double middle body isolates lubricant from compression chambers. Ductile iron oil-free cylinders and cylinder heads with axial valves avoid gas contamination, reduce flow resistance and improve compression efficiency. 


A manual turning device facilitates pre-start and maintenance inspection. Shock-absorbing tire coupling connects the motor, matched with a fully enclosed spark-proof cover to satisfy explosion-proof requirements of natural gas working areas.

What gas can the DWF-4.1/(18~25)-45 natural gas compressor handle?

This D-type oil-free compressor is only suitable for natural gas as specified in the technical agreement. It cannot compress hydrogen, oxygen or other special industrial gases. Contact us for customized units if other media compression is required to guarantee safe operation.


How often does the DWF-4.1/(18~25)-45 natural gas compressor require maintenance?

Fitted with hardened 42CrMo piston rods and durable PTFE sealing parts, the unit follows fixed maintenance cycles:
