DW-3.85/2-45 hydrogen rich mixed gas compressor is a high-pressure reciprocating compressor designed for industrial process gas compression applications.
This compressor is mainly used for compressing hydrogen-containing mixed gas with approximately 80% hydrogen and hydrocarbon components including methane, ethane, propane and butane. According to the customer's process requirements, the compressor increases gas pressure from 2 barg inlet pressure to 45 barg discharge pressure with a rated capacity of 600Nm³/h.
The unit adopts a three-stage horizontal reciprocating compression structure with oil-free cylinder and packing lubrication design. It is suitable for chemical, petrochemical and industrial gas applications where stable operation and clean gas compression are required.
DW-3.85/2-45 is specially designed for hydrogen rich mixed gas compression in industrial process applications.
The compression medium mainly contains:
Hydrogen (H₂): approximately 80%
Methane, Ethane, Propane and Butane: approximately 20%
The compressor is designed according to the characteristics of hydrogen-containing process gas, providing reliable sealing performance and stable operation under continuous working conditions.
The compressor adopts a three-stage compression structure to achieve stable pressure increase from low-pressure inlet gas to high-pressure outlet gas.
Technical working conditions:
Suction pressure: 2 barg
Discharge pressure: 45 barg
Capacity: 600Nm³/h
The multi-stage compression design helps distribute compression load between stages, reduce discharge temperature and improve overall operating efficiency.
The cylinder and packing system adopt oil-free lubrication technology.
Self-lubricating piston rings and guide rings are used to reduce friction and prevent lubricating oil from entering the compression chamber.
This design helps maintain gas purity and makes the compressor suitable for process gas applications requiring clean compression.
DW-3.85/2-45 is designed for hydrogen rich mixed gas compression applications. It can handle process gases containing high concentrations of hydrogen mixed with hydrocarbon components such as methane, ethane, propane and butane.
The compressor design considers the characteristics of hydrogen-containing gases, including sealing performance, gas purity requirements and long-term continuous operation requirements.
The cylinder and packing sections adopt an oil-free lubrication design to prevent lubricating oil from entering the compression chamber and reduce the risk of gas contamination.
The crankcase mechanism uses forced oil lubrication to ensure reliable operation of moving components such as the crankshaft, connecting rod and crosshead. This design combines clean gas compression with stable mechanical performance.
The three-stage compression structure distributes the overall compression ratio among different stages, reducing the load of each compression stage.
This design helps lower discharge temperature, improve operating stability and achieve efficient compression performance for high-pressure process gas applications.
Yes. Reciprocating gas compressors can be customized according to different gas compositions, flow requirements, suction pressure, discharge pressure and operating conditions.
Customers can provide detailed process parameters and gas analysis data, and our engineering team will design a suitable compression solution based on the specific application requirements.
